What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive your name, phone number and email address, the location of the work, the service you need and anything you write in your message. If you call or email us, we receive the details you give us then.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange any work you ask us to do. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing mailing lists.
Our legal basis is that this is a step you have asked us to take before entering into a contract, and that we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our business.
Who handles it for us
We use these service providers to run the website and receive enquiries:
- Web3Forms delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- hCaptcha checks that the form is being used by a person and not a spam program. It may collect technical information about your device and browser.
- Google provides our email (Gmail) and the fonts on this website. Loading the fonts sends your IP address to Google.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. We may also share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep the records we need for accounts, tax and legal reasons, normally for up to six years.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. hCaptcha may use cookies or similar technology on our contact page to help protect the form from spam.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to limit it. Some of these rights have exceptions. To make a request, use the contact details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
